Have you ever wanted to have a holiday-related article that repeats each year? Or a reminder-article about a recurring deadline? Or post a birthday or anniversary greeting that reappears automatically each year?
This module displays published articles belonging to specified content sections,
or content categories, or specific items, or newsfeeds categories, or newsfeeds items. It has many flexible display options. But its unique feature is that it
enables you to publish articles that will automatically repeat annually.
For more information, see the article: EM Releases Recurring Content Module (index.php?option=com_content task=view id=30 Itemid=9) .
This is a modified version of the product_categories module distributed with VirtueMart (an excellent, free shopping cart component for Joomla!). It adds a parameter that specifies an Itemid to apply to all the links produced by the module. If non-blank, the parameter overrides whatever Itemids the module would otherwise have produced. For detailed information, including prerequisites, see our news article about em_product_categories (index.php?option=com_content task=view id=24 Itemid=9) .
This is a modified version of Joomla's newsflash module. It adds a parameter that specifies an Itemid to apply to all the 'Title' and 'Read More' links produced by the module. Most Read Module - With Forced ItemIDs Optional Sampling PeriodOur em_mostread module adds a Period-of-Observation parameter that specifies the period during which hits are counted to measure popularity; and a Forced ItemID parameter that addresses a bug in the standard Joomla! mostread module. For more information, see our article about em_mostread version 1.1 (index.php?option=com_content task=view id=8 Itemid=9) .
Latest News --- With Forced ItemIDs
The original Joomla! latestnews module has a bug that can cause problems when used on the front page of a site. Electronic Mother's em_latestnews module avoids this bug; it adds a parameter that specifies an Itemid that this module will use for all the links it displays.
For more information, see our news article about the em_latestnews module (http://electronicmother.com/cms/index.php?option=com_content task=view id=12 Itemid=9).
